Hickey & Moloney conclude Paris World Challenge Cup 2026

Gymnastics Ireland's artistic gymnastics team competed at the FIG World Challenge Cup taking place in the Accor Arena, Paris, France, on the 26th and 27th September 2026.

James Hickey competed on pommel horse, scoring a 13.766 in qualification and ranking in 9th place, just one position away from securing a spot in the final.

At her first World Cup experience, Mimi Moloney competed on floor, finishing her qualification in 12th place with a score of 12.200.

Head of Delegation Sandra Stevenson commented:

"Congratulations to Mimi and James on strong performances at the Paris World Cup, providing valuable preparation ahead of the World Championships in a few weeks.
James finished 9th Reserve 1 while Mimi achieved an impressive 12th place in her first-ever World Cup.
